北海道では赤い実が雪の帽子をかぶった街路樹をよく目にします。名前は七度かまどで燃やしても燃え残ることに由来しています。 （撮影：浜谷映像工房）

The street trees of this kind often have their red fruits snow-capped. The name derives from that it remains even after burnt 7(nana) times in a furnace (kamado).
